What is Vestibular Rehabilitation?
Vestibular Rehabilitation targets every aspects of the vestibularsystem to improve your symptoms of vertigo and your balance. The vestibularsystem takes information from your eyes, joints, and inner ear to understandhow you are moving, and Vestibular Rehabilitation helps your brain realign allthis information. A vestibular-trained therapist will assess you and provideyou with a specific treatment and exercise program.
In many cases, such as BPPV, a maximum of 1-3 visits is all that isneeded to help you.

What training do our therapists have?
Our therapists have undergone several different series of coursesto help you better, including courses in Vestibular Condition Treatment &Assessment, Concussion Treatment & Rehabilitation, and Manual Therapy.
Can my symptoms get worse with physiotherapy?
You may experience a temporary increase in your symptoms duringand after the assessment and treatment, as well as when you perform your homeexercise program.
The good news is that the temporary increase in your symptoms willtypically not worsen your condition – on the contrary, it will help you feelbetter in the longer term.
Note that it is recommended to have someone driving you home from theappointment and plan to rest for a couple of hours after your appointment.
